Practice of Sedition
In a world built upon a foundation of conflict, the past year has been notably violent. As Crux Fidelis, the Crusaders and ruling faction of Sium, suffer heavy losses from a particularly bloody Aphelion, other factions are emboldened to take action. Despite being allies, Weltschmerz's ambitious and duplicitous nature sees them taking bigger risks which threaten to break their alliance. All the while, Apocrypha continues to gain public sympathy and support while the Black Sun Cabal and Poena Damni continue to wreak havoc. As Sium races towards yet another conflict, it’s evident that a war lurks on the horizon.

Appearance Extras
5'5" with fair skin and her mother's long shock of white blonde hair, Cassia is what you might call...angelic. Which is fitting, considering her father's wings and her single white wing. Her eyes are a deep brown, warm and bright, and she has a dimple in her left cheek when she smiles. Continuing with Saint-Yves tradition, Cassia has a rose wreath tattoo wrapped around her right bicep, a twin to her brother's.
weapons
Malakhim | Cassiopeia's bellicosa takes the form of a simple silver bracelet with a cross dangling from it. When manifested, it becomes an impressive whip-blade capable of producing and channeling electricity. It's a versatile weapon, and Cassiopeia prides herself on being a versatile Hallowed among the ranks. It can extend up to twenty feet in total. The blade can be loose or compact like a normal blade.

Though gifted with impressive range, Cassiopeia can only use it to electrocute on contact rather than project lightning in a bolt. Cassiopeia is skilled with it in both whip and sword forms.

Wing | Not much of a weapon as a shield. Due to her human blood and dense bone structure, the wind is utterly useless in flight. It is, however, quite sturdy and can be used as a sort of shield.
abilities
Electric Conduit | Where a full-blooded Abreu angel can produce bursts of electricity from their body, Cassiopeia can only absorb electricity. The energy strengthens her muscles and gives her bursts of power depending on the force absorbed. Her sillage takes the form of self-enhancement and, you know, not dying when exposed to all that thunder and lightning.

Martial arts | A gifted fighter, and not against playing dirty! Cassiopeia's skill with fencing is augmented by her rough and tumble fighting style that puts emphasis on practicality rather than elegance.
personality/fun facts
Coming from two hardworking geniuses, it's only expected that their children came out just as brilliant...and so it came to be. Cassiopeia grew up with a love of all knowledge. Whether it be learning sleight of hand from young street rat boys that admired her, or learning the finer arts of nobility that was expected of her. There was a silver spoon in her mouth from the moment she was born, but Cassiopeia never took it for granted. With plenty of spunk, gumption, and dimpled grins, Cassiopeia managed to become everyone's friend. And I mean everyone. Thieves who tried to mug her ended up sitting down with her and teaching her their trade, boys ready to mock her for being a girl ended up playing ball with her, the shyest of the shy in envy of her ended up becoming loquacious thanks to Cassia's honest-to-goodness pure spirit. Cassiopeia is no street rat by any means, but she can bluff, play cards, cheat, and do whatever it takes to turn a situation around. She's nothing is not adaptive. She's capable of a certain kind of cunning. Besides, when you have such a pretty, angelic girl, you can't help but believe her!

Upbeat and joyful, Cassiopeia is a mood maker. When someone is feeling glum, Cassiopeia will swoop in and try to make them smile. An extrovert, Cassiopeia feels her best among people. Strangers are, after all, friends you haven't met yet. She enjoys puns, has a love of adventure, and is a little ball of energy. Cassiopeia is forgiving, even to people who do not deserve it. Still, there are limits to her forgiveness. Some things absolutely cannot be forgiven. In her fury, Cassiopeia becomes loud, argumentative, and insensitive. With a strong moral compass, Cassiopeia can be extremely stubborn...not to mention impulsive. She follows her heart and her gut rather than her mind. Instinct has been shaped by evolution, after all, so it's something to have faith in. With friends and allies, Cassiopeia puts her absolute trust in them. She's a hot-blooded hero...but also a gentleman, always ready with a kind word or a token of peace. She has countless admirers...of which she's rather oblivious to. It's in Cassiopeia's nature to help others.

Like brother, like sister. The Abreu siblings are remarkably impulsive, following their gut rather than their impressive brains, and leaping before they think. In the pursuit of justice, Cassiopeia gives her all and often risks her own life for it. This can be seen in some isolated incidents and behavior, since she refuses to let others get hurt because of her. Gallant as they come, Cassiopeia is like a fairy tale hero-prince or hero-princess. Idealistic to boot, Cassiopeia will refuse point-blank to let others come to harm during great battles. Even if it means the situation becomes even more difficult to surmount, Cassiopeia will never go against her morals. Everyone can be saved. Everyone can be protected. With her honeyed words, pretty face, and skill with a blade, Cassiopeia is a favorite among the people and tourneys. Despite her recklessness, Cassiopeia has a golden heart...she just needs to learn to withhold herself a little. Then she can truly take her place as heiress to the Saint-Yves clan.
backstory
Theodore Abreu was an ancient angel, sworn to protect the noble (and fellow immortal), Eugenia. During their travels across the world of Sium, they encountered the Saint-Yves brood. Where Eugenia fell for purple haired Aslan, Theodore became interested in the prim, perfect heiress: Winona Saint-Yves. The two eventually fell in love and married, having two children: Cassiopeia, the elder, and Rolly, the baby brother.

The Abreu family and her grandmother's Ritter clan was well connected to the Crux Fidelis. With a strong sense of justice, Cassiopeia followed in her ancestor's footsteps and joined when she was old enough to wield a blade. With her cat-like reflexes and sturdy shielding wind, Cassiopeia rose in popularity and use.

Currently, she handles missions for the Crux as well as going off on her own hunts...in the name of justice! Goodness! In the name of the angels, she will punish you!
