Germany - Nyotalia
[x] Scar marks on the backs of her knees, the insides of her elbows, and up the backs of both legs.
[x] Bald patches in her wings, though they do not effect her flight-feathers.
THORST is Dagmar's only weapon; a brilliant spear that flashes back to her hand when it is thrown. When Dagmar focuses her energy into the spear, it sparks and jolts with lightning, which can sear the flesh and cause damage if the lightning strikes a foe. Thorst is hooked across the tip, meaning that if it impales itself in someone and Dagmar summons it back to her, that person is treated to extra damage on the way out as the speartip rends free. Dagmar cannot summon Thorst back to her if she cannot see it, or if she is too far away from it.
She also has a sword with the runes for AKLEJA carved into the blade itself, but Dagmar does not use this blade in combat; it is a typical sword.
Sin Physiology - Along with other sins, Dagmar can only be truly killed by Lucifer. All other deaths leave her to recuperate in Alptraum before returning to the world of the living. She can open direct portals to Alptraum if need be, and can take much more damage than the average person, or even most other (non-sin) Valkyries, having been boosted by Lucifer.
Steel Manipulation- A natural extension of her metalsmithing, and a new ability Dagmar gained after she became a Sin; she can urge metals into various shapes, though she must concentrate on doing so since the ability is new and she is no expert on it. (PC permission required on any player armor, etc)
Thunder Call - As a Valkyrie, Dagmar is capable of summoning thunder and lighting around her; after her corruption into a sin, Dagmar gained the ability to boom this thunder so loudly it can rupture eardrums and break glass. Her lighting is corrosive to the flesh of angels and holy beings, leaving great and terrible burn scars behind where it touches, and corrupting the skin in the immediate vicinity of the lightning strike.
Resurrection - As a Valkyrie, Dagmar is capable of laying hands upon the dead and bringing them back to life, or she is capable of laying hands on wounded and ending their lives. Since her corruption into a sin, however, she cannot truly resurrect the dead anymore, and can only heal a body as much as it needs to keep living.
Flight - Dagmar is capable of flight, and when she is in pursuit of a fleeing, cowardly enemy, she gains a boost of speed (OOC permission).
Combat Master - As expected of one of her kind, Dagmar is exemplary in hand to hand combat and use of her spear, as well as shortswords. She is good at improvising in the heat of a battle as well.
[x] Doesn't talk much. Thinks it's not worth her time. When she does speak, it's terse and to the point. Dagmar is a woman of few, harsh, angry words.
[x] Sees absolutely nothing wrong with essentially genociding a bloodline off of Sium; will speak of it as if she did the world a great justice.
[x] Still enjoys smithing. Her greatest treasures are the works she has created, and Dagmar considers herself an expert in her skill of metal-mending.
[x] Brutish when it comes to violence. Sees little point in prolonging a fight; each battle is to kill.
[x] Appreciates a good opponent. A weak opponent will be killed; a valiant one will be spared if Dagmar finds them worthy of life.
[x] Disorganized in her living space. A lost sort of person, Dagmar keeps a sharp appearance but her actual home is a fucking disaster as she doesn't care too much about herself at all.
[x] Will take just about any revenge job for very little money, so long as she has proof that someone was wronged. This is also the only mercenary work Dagmar does, and she will do it for free if asked.
[x] Fiercely loyal to Pride, who gave her the power to carry out greater vengeance than her own.
Dagmar rode in the name of a lord she cannot remember. She made weapons, great and wonderful things, forging them with embers from a dragon's chest. She lived.
She and her sisters dispersed, and Dagmar found a fellow smith. She settled, and plucked a feather from her wings to give to this new woman, and the two of them lived their lives happily. Battle called, from time to time.
Eventually, battle claimed the woman that Dagmar loved, but Dagmar understood this was the way of the world. She decorated their home with jewels and memories writ in steel. Dagmar forged a sword in the name of her love (even though her love has faded in hundreds of years, the sword still has her woman's name).
Settlements rose, and the Valkyrie paid them no attention until one Queen Kriemhild rode to her home and demanded Dagmar's goods: her rings, her necklaces, the expertly-smithed weapons. Dagmar refused.
She was crippled as a result. The queen mauled her wings. Hamstrung her. Impaled her palms.
Dagmar recalls it through a haze: the Queen had her bodily taken to an island, where Dagmar was kept, her wings mutilated too heavily to allow her to take flight. Her body was torn and Dagmar was forgotten there after a long enough time, as the Queen intended her to die there.
Centuries later, Dagmar was freed.
It was an accident; a greatly-distant relative of the Queen Kriemhild found the island, sailed, and freed the battered Valkyrie. Dagmar killed the boy, melted gold over his skull, and sent it to the boy's family as a reward.
And then she proceeded to slaughter every living relative of the Queen. Everyone who had descended from the Queen.
By the time it was over, Lucifer herself appeared before Dagmar; an offer was made, and Dagmar shook blood from her wings. The Branch of Vengeance was born, dripping in gore and holding the head of the last living descendant of Kriemhild.
