Practice of SeditionIn a world built upon a foundation of conflict, the past year has been notably violent. As Crux Fidelis, the Crusaders and ruling faction of Sium, suffer heavy losses from a particularly bloody Aphelion, other factions are emboldened to take action. Despite being allies, Weltschmerz's ambitious and duplicitous nature sees them taking bigger risks which threaten to break their alliance. All the while, Apocrypha continues to gain public sympathy and support while the Black Sun Cabal and Poena Damni continue to wreak havoc. As Sium races towards yet another conflict, it’s evident that a war lurks on the horizon.

Innes - Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
Ophiuchus, Cursed Infinite Chains - Infinitely long chains that only Blake can summon from several otherworldly gates. He can command the chains to pierce/stab an opponent or coil around them. By doing so, provided they don't have a method of stopping the poison from the point of the chain, nor are strong enough to break free from the chains' grasp, they are unable to move. Ophiuchus can also form a tight ball-like shield stopping any incoming attack directed at him. The chains can only fully stop one opponent at a time, and if multiple opponents are caught by the chains, it's easier to break out of than a single opponent caught by the chains. In addition, if opponents are bound by the chains, Blake cannot use the chains to form a shield around himself. Instead, the chains must first unbind the opponent and then form a shield.
Hunter's Knife - A small-ish knife Blake uses to assassinate prey caught in his chains.
Kriemhild - A long spear said to never miss its target. Blake can empower the spear with sillage so that the spear will always manage to hit the target, usually in a non-lethal location. He can recall the weapon at will, unless the weapon is thrown very very far away and out of Blake's sight.
Eternal Arms Mastery - Blake is able to master a weapon perfectly as soon as he touches it. Even if he's never held a dagger in his life, he'd be able to understand several complicated tricks to the weapon that took even the brightest student several years to perfect. However, once his hands leave the weapon, he loses all previously associated knowledge to the weapon until he regains a grasp of it. He cannot use this ability on Bellicosa or enchanted weapons designated for a certain character's use.
Demonic Enhancement - Heightened strength and heightened speed. His wounds heal quickly as well, allowing himself to last longer in fights.
Dance of the Quetzal - Since Blake is a Quetzal demon, he can also sprout a pair of wings for a short period of time to fly. It's pretty good for getting a kick out of people if there isn't a serious reason for him to be flying around. If Blake chooses to do so, he can also show his long, bright green tail feathers that are really only ever used for sweeping people off their feet. Beside that, he can also change into a quetzal bird.
Windsweep - In tandem of using his feathers, Blake can create a wall of wind to block projectile attacks. This wall cannot stop a physical attack aimed at him. It cannot stop projectiles aimed behind him. Windsweep also allows Blake to sharpen his feathers into blades via sillage and curve them into his enemies. The wind wall and feather daggers cannot be used at the same time.
>People who boast their confidence (wow what a hypocrite)
One word, confidence. Overflowing confidence. Enough confidence in himself that if someone tells him "i love you" he'd go "yeah i love myself too." He's also kind of an asshole, but without meaning to be. Pretty much too honest. He's pretty blunt and likes to point out faults in other people. He thinks it's a way for people to improve. People probably hate when he does that. He's also a huge womanizer.
There was once a woman named Seneca. Seneca loved beautiful things. It didn't come as a surprise, therefore, that she had a one-night stand with Freyr, one of the most beautiful men in Sium. When the man had left Seneca, she fell into utter despair, knowing she lost the greatest treasure she ever set her eyes on. In her despair, she attempted to drown both herself and her unborn child. Yet each time she tried, she couldn't bring herself to do it.
Such was the story Seneca recounted each year to her child, Blake. Tales of her grand adventure and her life before he was born. What blissful memories of a time when things weren't so complicated.
And then the day came again. The day where Seneca lost her mind. It was an Aphelion from quite a while ago. As a young Blake tried to comfort his mother, it was to no avail. Each night he was woken by his crazed mother, spending much of his time struggling to not drown. His mother had lost sight of who he was and who she was, and terrified of his life, Blake ran. Far away from the place he once called home. And onward towards honing his own skills.
Word of a great sacred treasure reached the ears of an adult Blake, his curiosity peaking at the word "treasure". He set out to find it, wanting to make sure that he'd be the one to obtain the sacred relic. The relic was said to cure any pain or suffering, and Blake was determined to use it to bring his mother back to her senses. But as he made his way through the Pluviall rainforests, he became increasingly worried about the validity of the claim. He journeyed for many days with his best friend, Marcus, until they reached a cavern with various gems and gold. But that wasn't what Blake set his eyes on the most. His gaze was focused on the long, wound up chains sitting on a pedestal. The chains seemed to whisper to him, beckoning him closer. Marcus noticed Blake in a trance, and in shock and horror, realized what those chains were. As Blake looked upon the chains, he reached out to grab it, the warning from his closest friend come too late.
For as soon as Blake touched the chains, a searing pain took a hold of his body. The chains enveloped him as he struggled to fight the immense pain and burn from the chains themselves. It was like a snake, eagerly wolfing down its prey, and when the pain finally subsided, Blake looked around the cavern, finding out for the first time that he was truly alone. There seemed to be nothing left of Marcus, the gems, or the gold in the cavern. The only thing that seemed to exist was Blake himself, and the chains, now seemingly following his every command.
Yet, at the price of commanding an infinite number of golden chains, Blake had lost something important. His own friend. Blake could never bring Marcus back, the man was likely dead. He was missing, after all, and he never saw what happened to the man afterwards.
There was yet another thing. Blake soon found that the chains came with a special type of curse as well. He was no longer able to age physically. Whether or not this too was a result of fate, he would find his answers, further seeking out the relic that would heal his mother.
