Kyouka Izumi (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Under Oni's Trance, Mari's normally blue eyes turn a deep crimson. Red tattoos line her entire body signifying her enhanced strength and speed.
Mercy - A small curved knife made of porcelain and reinforced with adamantine. If you're cut by this it's probably going to hurt.
Malice - A small black knife laced with a paralysis poison. You're likely going to lose control over a limb when you're cut by this blade.
Enhanced Strength, Speed, Healing: Standard Ephemera abilities. Mari's strength, though somewhat weaker than normal, is still greater than a normal human's. In addition, Mari's wounds close quickly out of combat within a few minutes if it's not major, and a few hours if it's not life threatening but still major. Her speed is faster than a human's, and with her Oni genes, boosts her speed further.
Oni's Blessings of the Wind: Since she's part Oni she gains a passive double sided coin. The first part of the ability lets her move faster alongside her already boosted speed. She moves at pretty much the speed of wind, so she becomes slippery to catch.
The second part of her ability is Oni's Trance. When Trance is activated, Mari's physical strength and speed are drastically increased at the cost of losing sanity. She is able to destroy much in her path without paying much heed to her surroundings. The strength and speed boost doesn't last forever, after sustaining too much damage, Mari won't have enough energy to keep up her Trance and crumbles immediately. At the point where she stops Trance is her most vulnerable, as she doesn't have enough damage to sustain and defend herself.

Mari is a character who lives in the moment. She plans as she executes said plan without giving another thought. This often led her to sticky situations, but every single time she's managed to find a way out of it.
Once there was a girl whose only wish was to have fun with everyone. Once there was a girl who loved everyone with an open heart. Once there was a girl who loved too much. Once there was a girl who drowned in the blood of her love. Once there was a girl...
Mari's first senses were of light and cold. Her first words when conscious was "Mama!" to her caretaker. Her love, however, was met with cold reception.
Do you know who you are? Do you know what you are? But Mari didn't know. Mari didn't care. The only thing Mari knew was blood. And in the first few moments of grasping a knife, she slit her wrist to taste her blood. Unfamiliar. Fearful. She couldn't understand. She didn't want to understand. She watched, eyes wide as her wound closed in minutes.
Fearful for both her life and theirs, the workers set to quarantining Mari, until she was at the very least not immediately bringing harm to anyone. At first she was deemed a failure for being much too dangerous for both herself and the staff. Yet, her sunny disposition seemed to prove otherwise. Mari was soon allowed to roam the halls of the building, curiously asking about her surroundings and objects around her. Life in itself was beautiful to the young girl, and curious as she may be, she still loved everything with all her heart.
But love was blinding, and perhaps a price to be paid.
On her first few days out of the white halls of the laboratory, she struck down a crow using a pair of knives. Proudly holding up the prey she caught, she excitedly claimed, "I tagged him, Mama!"
Since then, she had been wandering around Sium, taking on assassination odd jobs while being overseen by her caretaker/handler.
