Izuminokami Kanesada - Touken Ranbu
Death Lotus - A normal-looking katana. While it looks innocent enough, the blade itself is able to store Rouvin's flames. Thus, when enchanted with fire, the blade will never burn the wielder. It also allows Rouvin to walk through other fires (that are not holy) with no damage. The blade can never be lost to Rouvin and will always return to him no matter how far it has been thrown. When thrown, once it makes contact with something, it will burst into flames and reappear at Rouvin's side.
Demonic Physiology - Since Rouvin is part demon, he can move faster than your average human and also is much stronger and more durable. He can take several hits without crumbling, and Rouvin is fairly proud of that fact. As a phoenix demon, Rouvin is able to transform perfectly between his phoenix form and his normal form.
Phoenix Rebirth - As with his father, Rouvin is near immortal. Upon taking lethal damage, his body with burst into flames, scorching everything within 10 feet from his "corpse". Once his body has degraded into ash, he rises again, his body now woundless. Like Reinier, he can only die if his head has been chopped off.
Pyromancy - Rouvin is able to manipulate flames to his will. He has several unique attacks he can do that involve the use of his flames as listed below.
>Living Forge: Rouvin can recreate the shape of any melee weapon he has seen before using his flames. The weapons are usually launched at the opponent. Upon contact, the flames explode, scorching most who cannot dodge. If other weapons that aren't a Bellicosa come into contact with the flames, they become hot to the touch.
>Dancing Embers: This ability is more like a trap setting ability. Rouvin can set any three points on the ground with some baby embers. Once the three points have been set, a wall of fire connecting the three set points will rise from the ground. The wall isn't solid, but anything passing through it without holy protection or some way to move aside the fire will be burned. The wall has a certain max height, so you could potentially just vault/jump/fly over it.
>Enchant: Rouvin can apply the flames onto his sword, causing it to burn whatever it cuts/touches. Rouvin can also swing the flame-enchanted sword to release long ranged flame slashes.
Gravity Manipulation - The only singular ability Rouvin managed to inherit from his mother. With a touch, Rouvin can change the gravity of an object, allowing it to float and redirect its path, or to cause it to crash with greater force than before. He can also detect when a change in gravity has occurred and reverse the effect for himself and his allies.
>Reinier's determination to be a hero
Harsh in teaching and cold with words. Rouvin is the complete opposite of his brother Reinier. People who have met him know that he's mostly serious most of the time. Rouvin believes there's not need to be on friendly terms unless necessary. Despite being so harsh, Rouvin only wants the best for his brother. He'll fight anyone that gets in Reinier's way to being a "hero" even though Rouvin himself thinks the idea is childish. Always asks Reinier when he'll grow up. He can put some effort into being friendly but it usually backfires since he's usually salty about something.
When Rouvin was born, his father wasn't present. But he knew right away that his very existence wasn't exactly normal. How could it, when his very own father was a Sin, the enemy of all of mankind?
Rouvin was born shortly after Reinier, and yet, it almost always seemed like Reinier was the younger of the two siblings. Wherever Reinier went, Rouvin stood a few steps behind to make sure his brother didn't get into too much trouble. Sometimes it was a pain, trying to clean up Reinier's collection only to be asked about it afterwards. But Rouvin knew better than to doubt his brother. Reinier, of course, usually had a plan for everything.
Some time later, Rouvin went on a journey of his own to understand his powers and perfect them. Travelling to Mt. Glaucia in Seracier, Rouvin meditated, at first trying his hand at controlling his flames. They were wild and uncontained, yet he didn't want to just let a town burn for the sake of his practice. So pieces of the mountain would be taken out as Rouvin trained. It was around this time that he discovered a sword in a stone. It was unique and exquisite, and the more Rouvin had looked at it, the more he was fascinated by it.
The sword, of course, was not supposed to be touched by an outsider. It was actually a relic for a town nearby, and once the villagers had seen it, they spat curses at him, and chased him out of town. But not before leaving several heavy wounds on Rouvin's body. Rouvin's vision darkened as he fled into the forest, and when he came to, the snow, the forest, and the town nearby had burned completely. And miraculously, Rouvin's wounds had disappeared.
Happy with his findings about his powers, he returned home, only to find it abandoned and Reinier nowhere in sight. He became increasingly worried about his brother's safety and asked around the town about the "hero protector." He was relieved when he found out that Reinier had joined Apocrypha in order to be a hero to all the people. And so shortly afterwards, Rouvin sought out an Apocrypha base, met up with Reinier, and has stuck with him ever since.
He didn't even really mind that Reinier had contracted with a demon despite being one. After all, his brother had the better judgment of his own powers anyways.
