Seven Knights - Dellons
A scythe that was forged and tempered in a heated mixture of toxins borne from Vanivus' own design. On the back of the Scythe's handle is a small compartment where up to two vials of toxins can be inserted which allows the scythe to secrete said poisons for devastating effects.
Due to his studies, Vanivus has extensive knowledge on the study of drug action which will include man-made, natural and endogenous molecules that cause biological reactions within the body of numerous races.
Even now, Vani's skills with a scythe is to be feared. This particular style uses the weapon for both mid to long range attacks which allow to easily control certain spaces against even more high-speed adversaries. Of course, it's weakness however is found in extremely close quarters combat due to an enemy being able to properly stay out of Vanivus's reach.
Vanivus has adept knowledge of poisons and how to poison others, more particularly demons and their unique physiology. The toxicology is a discipline, overlapping with biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and medicine, that involves the study of the adverse effects of chemical substances on living organisms and the practice of diagnosing and treating exposures to toxins and toxicants. The relationship between dose and its effects on the exposed organism is of high significance in toxicology. Factors that influence chemical toxicity include the dosage (and whether it is acute or chronic), route of exposure, species, age, sex, and environment.
Even with his soul severely damaged, Vanivus still remained human due to the lingering spirit of Antistes which also slightly altered his personality.
Vanivus was once a passionate yet envious knight from Seracier but now he seems to have a thick mysterious veil surrounding his own fiery personality.
To Vanivus, there seems to be a wall between those who could wield magic and those who could not which is why he fancies himself a martyr needed to put a hole in that wall.
This man is rarely seen not smiling and speaks in a very slow, low tone of voice. This man has a odd obsession with the numerous chemical concoctions and salves he produces to the point where he has conducted some very odd, bordering dangerous experiments on his enemies.
Doing so, puts in to question his value on life as he seems to bypass basic mannerisms for the sake of his chemical experiments. Nonetheless, his dedication to Weltschemerz's cause cannot be doubted.
As one who long guards for Weltschemerz, he is forever embolden by sending information on his findings and theories to both the heads of the chemical studies and biological studies.
Vanivus does this to the point that he seems to be unfazed by constantly putting his life and reputation on the line to procure such informations and yet very few people other than those aforementioned head scientists in Welts knows about his membership and strangely enough, Vanivus wouldn't have it any other way.
Now these were the positive traits, Vanivus is also arrogant, selfish, blasphemous and manipulative. Now despite all of that, Vanivus worst of all is a creature in which although his body and mind his in fact human, he isn't spiritually held together by his own soul.
This means that it no longer natural for him to be morally objective and things such as love is something of a mystery to him.
Born in Seracia, home to the frozen tundra, Benjamin Knox was part of a religious sect known as the Way of Glacies, who were known to worshipped a false God known as Antistes - a warrior who valiantly fought against the demons who attacked the sects ancestors wielding powerful magic.
To the sect, Antistes was not only provided protection but comfort for those in need but in the end, the Black Sun Cabal, hearing of this powerful man being exalted over their own God, sent one of their agents to assassinate him. Even in death, Antistes was seen as a powerful martyr and the religious sect persisted in worshiping him even when driven to secrecy and guarded by the frigid cold of Seracier's tundra.
Of course, Benjamin, having been an inquisitive young lad, was never satisfied with worshipping a man he never knew. So eventually, Benjamin left the sect at a young age and trained to be a knight under the service of a noble but there was one problem. With the ever increasing number of magic users as well as the Crux's ability to use Bellicosa, a knight, no matter how skilled, if there was no potential in magic then he'll always be treated as second fiddle.
Feeling frustrated with being unable to compete with other magic users, Benjamin would venture out to prove his worth by battling demons on a constant bases. Imps and Fae's were an easy start but eventually came across a far more powerful evil who violently displaced his own soul from his body. Luckily, the Crux would save what remained.
Strangely enough, Benjamin survived but became a changed man. For the next couple of years Benjamin gave up knighthood and became studying in the medical field until this formerly scythe wielding knight became a mysterious salve-maker that now long guards Weltschmerz as a member and a beneficiary to their cause while traveling all over the world of Sium selling his medicine.
Vanivus sold mixtures used to heal wounds and illnesses, as well as concoctions that could be used to poison, and weaken enemies on the battlefield, and even mysterious tonics with unknown side effects. His movements were sporadic, causing many to question his unpredictable appearances. Every place he visited also saw itself tangled in some sort of problem after his arrival, though he was never around by the time these were resolved.
