Silas technically has black hair and gold eyes, but sealing himself has somehow leeched most colour from his appearance, leaving him with white hair and blue eyes.
Bellicosa - Tabula Rasa
Silas' bellicosa, appearing as an ironic silver cross pendant, has the ability to copy the powers/magic of others. He can only copy one power at a time and must first see the power in action to do so. Switching to another power takes a few seconds of concentration. There isn't a hard limit on what he can and can't take -Silas could even steal from a commander if he wanted- but if he were to use an ability that's too much for him, there'd be repercussions. He can only take powers from someone near him, and once that person travels out of range, he can no longer use them.
Tabula Rasa also has the ability to seal powers. Silas' demonic aura and powers are sealed away in this manner. He can move the seal from himself to someone else in range in order to cancel out their magic/supernatural powers/etc., but since it'll expose him as a demon, he's not likely to do so.
Due to this, he must have it on his person at all times. If he doesn't have it, he reverts to a more "evil-looking" appearance in which he has black hair, yellow eyes, and abnormally pale skin. After a long period of sealing, a black aura will sometimes pour out if he deactivates it. His personality goes through a slight shift as well; he becomes more negative, and sometimes even bloodthirsty depending on the circumstances.
Slowed aging: Silas ages about three times slower than humans do.
Night vision: he can see in the dark.
Vespertine: he's a stronger combatant and generally more lively at night whether he has his bellicosa or not.

Strength/speed: with his demonic nature unsealed, Silas gains strength/speed/agility far beyond that of a human -about 3x as much as peak human abilities.
Aura: when manifested, his aura has a black, smoky appearance. It's deathly cold as well, giving frostbite to anything it comes into prolonged contact with.
Dream eater: If someone sleeps near him, Silas will subconsciously absorb their dreams, leading them to believe they haven't had any that night. Absorbing a dream can heal him to a minor extent. Absorbing many dreams at once, while unlikely, will have a greater effect.
Fear: When angered, Silas can inspire fear in others to make them run away/back down/lose their marbles just by looking at them. Needs OOC permission.
Daydream: Akin to illusions, Silas can make people dream while they're awake and manipulate what they see to great effect. The imagery doesn't have to be frightening, but he's never used it any other way. OOC permission is required for over-the-top manipulation.
Mist: Silas can poof into a cloud of thin black mist to avoid being hurt by physical weapons/move through cracks/etc. Magic will still affect him in this form and will usually force him out of it.
Shadow affinity: he can "enter" shadows as a means of going undetected. If someone attacks a shadow Silas is hiding in with magic, it'll force him back out into the open.
Dream-walking: Silas can appear in someone's dream by picturing their face and meditating. He can also manipulate their dream while inside of it. He can't physically hurt people in dreams though.
Astral Projection: With the right environment, Silas can easily meditate and enter a different version of reality. It looks exactly the same except for the fact that it's always dark. This enables him to interact with disembodied souls. In a way, he also becomes a ghost as he can effect the real world to some extent. For example, if he knocks over a vase while projecting, that same vase will fall in the real world. Naturally, his body is completely helpless while he's projecting. Plus, if he goes too far and gets lost, well, that wouldn't be good.
Positive: adaptable, adventurous, appreciative, clever, conciliatory, confident, creative, curious, earnest, freethinking, flexible, forgiving, humourous, insightful, perceptive, relaxed, uncomplaining
Negative: absentminded, complacent, devious, disorderly, distractable, fanciful, inconsiderate, opportunistic, paranoid, provocative, repentant, repressed
-Silas is wildly curious about things he's never encountered. He might get excited over seeing a weird animal or some landmark everyone else already knows about.
-He doesn't take the whole Crux Fidelis thing seriously yet. He's likely seen as a slacker by his peers, but when he does decide to act, his years of fighting usually work in his favour. However, due to the nature of his demonic powers, he's never actually killed a person before. He's not yet been put in that situation since joining Crux either.
-secretive about his demonic heritage. There's no way he'd ever unseal himself with someone else around unless it was a life or death situation. He does know that the world won't end if this knowledge gets out. He just can't bear to see those looks again.
-highly interested in dreams, nightmares, and pretty much anything in that dominion. Paranormal stuff in general, really. Naturally, most of Silas' dreams are lucid or self-manipulated in some way, so he finds other people's dreams especially interesting. He might try to provide insight but in actuality has no idea what he's talking about.
-he's not crazy about the sun/bustle of daytime and prefers to be active mostly during the night. His nocturnal sleeping schedule is something he can't seem to shake.
-Silas thinks himself pretty funny. He's been known to pull childish pranks like pulling chairs out from under people, jump scaring, etc. because the reaction is amusing. He's also been known to tell crude jokes, not really seeing how they could offend other people because well, they're jokes.
-he tends to appreciate things that a lot of people take for granted. He'll vehemently thank people over small gestures. He has fairly good manners in general, always remembering to say "please" and "thank you" like a good boy.
-Silas doesn't have overly passionate views regarding the Cross' various enemies, but he certainly doesn't appreciate them because he's been told not to. Confident in his abilities, he'll usually go the necessary distance to uphold the law. He sometimes gives breaks for petty crimes, figuring people will feel indebted to him and try to better themselves. That, and all the paperwork for something that's really not a big deal...nah.
-he'll believe in pretty much anything. If there's some sort of all-powerful magic, higher power, fate, etc., having faith in it seems to make existing a little easier. In other words, Silas is a bit of a dreamer and likes to think things happen for a reason other than to bestow endless misery upon him. Things will always turn out in the end... Something or someone will come around to make it better, like Danae did! Right?
-concerning the above point, Silas is put-off by overly negative people and general downers. He hates having to try convincing someone that they just have to "try harder", "put themselves out there", etc. so he doesn't bother anymore. In other words, he's not the best person to go to for emotional support. Now if it was someone he actually liked, that'd be a different story. Otherwise, he thinks it's best to let people sort themselves out.
-spends a lot of time in his own head thinking about weird shit. Probably not great news for other people given that he can warp reality.
Silas was born in a secluded village in Zhyphire. He was conceived between a human father and a mara (basically a nightmare demon). Given this lineage, he wasn't treated the same as everyone else. There wasn't much in the way of blatant discrimination at first (perhaps only because the villagers were afraid of what he might do to them), but even from a young age, Silas couldn't help but notice the disdainful glances. It is notable that there was an incident that led to him being locked up at night for a couple years to avoid him eating dreams and causing nightmares. Once he confirmed he could control it, his nightly lock down was hesitantly rescinded.
He did have some friends -if they could be called that. Silas had a group of kids that followed him around and went along with what he said. Lonely and by extension, angry, he acted like an asshole and bullied others while flaunting his demonic power. This obviously did nothing for his already sour reputation. Eventually, everyone left him alone. No one enabled him or gave him any sort of attention save for his father. Silas eventually adapted and learned from the reactions of others. He mellowed out and tried to be friendly, but the damage had already been done. Everyone treated him like a burden, like they wanted him gone. He hated it, but figured he deserved it and choked down his anger, smiling through it all.
His father died of old age when Silas was in his mid-thirties (though he still looked like a child at this point due to his slow aging process), leaving him alone for real. Somehow he ended up becoming the village's "guardian" after that. The title didn't involve much other than taking care of things when trouble rolled in. No one asked him to do it, and it wasn't like he really wanted to protect the villagers. But...he'd done a lot of bad things to people there, in the place his father had lived in for so long. Maybe if he repented like this, he could be happy too. Maybe someone would look at him and see Silas instead of some disgusting half-demon.
That never happened. The villagers used and abused Silas and he became little more than a tool for them to let loose on their enemies. They even renamed him "Belial", meaning "worthless". He did everything they asked, but still felt purposeless because it wasn't something he cared about. He was so depressed that he became a shell lacking personality. If he wasn't doing someone's dirty work, he was sleeping and using his dream-oriented powers to escape reality. He could have left at any point, but he didn't know anything of the outside world. Plus, he'd told himself he had to protect the village, even if what he was doing then was a little more than that.
One day, a woman from Crux passed through the village and after asking some questions concerning the mission she was aiming to complete, it was decided Silas would accompany her as backup. At first, he was unenthused and wary. Danae was different. She didn't look at him like he was garbage or a tool to be used, and she asked him questions about himself. He'd never encountered someone like her other than his father, and it had been so long since he'd died... Silas' one-word answers eventually bloomed into an enjoyable conversation and when it was over, he went back to the village feeling...happy. For the first time in a while, he was feeling something. His peers quickly sought to beat that undeserved light out of him, but Silas had been given a different perspective of a world where he didn't have to be miserable. Maybe, if he was around Danae...or someone like her, he could have a normal life. Maybe, if he just left this place, he could start over.
A few days later, he worked himself up until he was finally able to leave the village of his own volition. His father was gone, and he'd confirmed that a different kind of life was possible. His father would want him to be happy, right? So Silas went off on his own. He wandered for a while, quickly finding that there were many things he didn't know about. Having been worked into the ground for many years, Silas was unused to a wanderer's lifestyle. Remembering Danae and her white uniform, he looked into Crux and ended up joining them. When he learned how to use his bellicosa to a satisfactory degree, Silas used its power to seal his demonic aura and powers. With that, he avoided the stigma being half-demon could bring upon him if someone happened to recognize his signature. Curiously enough, the holy weapon's influence turned his hair white and his eyes blue, but he didn't mind it. He just hoped Danae would recognize him when they met again.
