"Progress is paved by sacrifice."
30~ + Ravus (FFXV) + Weltschmerz
Crete is the result of a misuse of Sillage. He was formerly your run of the mill security guard, but after getting caught up in a battle between Crux Fidelis and the Black Sun Cabal he's become a little... Unpredictable. He was half-dead when the remainder of his squad found him, but Weltschmerz saved him... Sort of. They definitely kept him from dying, but the lengths they had to go through involved severe mental trauma that's left him crazy. And since Welts doesn't know when or how to stop, they kept experimenting on him until he was some sort of 'super soldier'. He's mostly used as a bodyguard for important Weltschmerz assets, such as Giselle Bell, but he's sometimes utilized for more devious ventures such as making people disappear.
"Fight me, you wuss."
400+ + Tenyruu (KanColle) + Apocrypha
Syr didn't join Apocrypha of her own volition, honestly. She was originally a roaming demon who went wherever there was conflict. Wherever there was a fight to be had, she was there getting her hands dirty. So long as she was in the thick of the battlefield she was satisfied. She didn't even care about 'sides' or who she wound up assisting so long as she could fight. Her nature demands she sheds blood, and when not fighting she's a condescending, lethargic mess that is sort of apathetic to everything around her. But after one battle in particular, she lost her eye and was captured by Apocrypha where she was conscripted into assisting them. With a spell forcing her to obey their commands, she was actually pretty annoyed by the entire situation. Luckily she was able to form a contract with a new Apocrypha recruit and they get along good enough, so it isn't all that bad.
"The hunt beckons."
25~ + Caius (FF13-2) + Apocrypha
To Arseus, Apocrypha is sort of a means to an end. They have resources, however limited they are, and their Anti-Crux stance resonates with him. He doesn't really care about the Black Sun Cabal or Sins, but he does dislike Crux. They Anathema'd his father, who was honestly pretty shit, and then killed his dad. So yeah, he has no love for them even if it's pretty... Unreasonable? He gets along with Brenner, to some extent... But his main 'thing' is he's apart of a very seedy monster hunting group. Their current fascination has been dragons, so they've been killing them for sport and not a legitimate reason. Arseus personally has been trying to kill Drautos Ramwryn to little to no effect, and the Elder Dragon is just sort of apathetic to his attempts.
Taken by Lollipop.
18 + Tharja (FE) + Poena Damni
As the Sin of Cruelty, there's little compassion within this woman. She enjoys watching others suffer. From a small child, she would torture animals and beat the shit out of others kids. Honestly, there was just something wrong with her brain. She had no sympathy for anyone or anything. She just liked hurting others, and when she began to develop Sillage? Holy shit did it get worse. She was honestly a skilled Witch, but all she could do was cause others to suffer. So it was no surprise when eventually, at the age of 16, she was burned to death. But, Lucifer saved her and made her the Sin of Cruelty. Now, she spends most of her time hanging out with Onyx because he's the Sin of Anarchy and he's a sadist. They get along pretty well and stuff like that because what's better than ruining everyone's day for your own pleasure? Ruining each other. Because of the fact they can't die, unless Lucifer kills them, they probably do all sorts of terrible shit to each other. It's a really fucked up relationship.
"Well that's just rude and disgusting."
17-21 + Kaga (KanColle) + Apocrypha
Isobel is a strange person in the fact that, on a surface level, she doesn't seem to care about much. Her personality comes off as very flat, or rather it'd be more accurate to say blunt. She has a sharp tongue and doesn't know the meaning of 'subtly' - she goes straight to the point, everyone's feelings be damned. As far as she's concerned, if you don't like what she has to say then you should grow a spine. Her position in Apocrypha, Assistant Director (or Director) of the Seracier Branch, has left most considering her personality as cold as the region. Despite this, she gets along sort of well with Roux - there's a friendship there, at the very least - and she's sort of obsessed with 'fixing' Onyx. They were pretty close before he got murdered, something which no one knew -- it was one of those 'secret' things -- and most would be surprised to know. And now that he's a Sin, she's not very happy about his current state of being.
"This is my duty and I enjoy it."
30+ + Bismarck (KanColle) + Crux Fidelis - Valor
As one of Elysia's closest friends, it's not much of a question as to what type of person Aeryanna is. She was born to a noble family in Emprean, so her superiority complex developed naturally. She was raised as an heiress and trained to be a warrior. And when she joined Crux Fidelis at the age of 16, she quickly and easily befriended Elysia. While Elysia was easily considered to be the 'Alpha Bitch', due to her unbearable personality and general awfulness to everyone and anyone, Aeryanna quickly gained the moniker 'Killer Queen' due to her personality and skill. And while Elysia took in Soren as her 'second', Aeryanna took in a young Hallowed referred to only as 'Zero'. He had been an orphan who had never been given a proper name, but the two had gotten along well enough. She grew a slight attachment to him, that bordered on obsessive, so you can imagine how she felt when he left Crux and joined Apocrypha. To say she was livid would be an understatement; and now as a Valor, she has every intention of dragging him back to Crux kicking and screaming and, if push comes to shove, she'll kill him. Out of love, of course.
"Can you PLEASE stop bitching?"
20+ + Makise (Steins;Gate) + Apocrypha
Despite being the daughter of Drautos Ramwryn, Summer shares quite a few personality quirks with her father. Being equally headstrong as him and entirely set in her ways, she's a bit... Apathetic. She's not nearly as arrogant as her father and she's a bit more content with just riding the wave and going with the flow of whatever is happening around her. Being a bit sarcastic, it's odd to see her hanging around someone as emotionally flat as Zero. Despite him being pretty crazy and slowly going off the deep end, she still likes hanging out on him. He's not all that bad as far as she's concerned. Drautos got tired of her being a lazy freeloader so he gave her two options - join Apocrypha or join Crux Fidelis. He was pretty much forcing her to pick one because he was annoyed by how annoying and lazy she was being. Ultimately, she wound up picking Apocrypha just because it was less strict and she'd still be able to retain some level of laziness.

20+ + Lunafreya (Final Fantasy) + Ikarus
Literally just copying some people and deciding to just out and out request a FC. Since I'm using Noctis, it's only right that there's a Luna. Whether they're enemies or friends or whatever, I don't care. I just want there to be a Luna FC, Okay.
"Well excuuuse me, princess!"
20+ + Iris (Final Fantasy) + Apocrypha
You know the term 'flippant'? That could easily be applied here. This girl doesn't know the meaning of respect and can sometimes just come off as bratty and obnoxious. And, of course she's best friends with Roux, according to her at least. He's frequently annoyed and aggravated by her behavior, but she's not a malicious individual. It's just she clings to her carefree and snobbish attitude from when she was a stupid teenager, much to Roux's chagrin. Because he's the one who has to deal with it, and she's frequently getting him into all sorts of shit. Her most dangerous weapon is honestly her mouth and her inability to know when to shut up.
"Damn I'm getting old."
40+ + Gladiolus (Final Fantasy) +Hallowed
He's been a member of Crux Fidelis for as long as he can remember. His father was a Hallowed, so he had no problem following in his old man's steps. He did his duty and he did it with pride, never faltering or second guessing himself. While a part of him wanted to one day become a Commander, he was content just doing his part. He didn't seek fame or anything like that, to be completely honest. During one of his missions, he came across a woman and they hit it off. And like all reasonable people, they banged super good. But, he couldn't stick around though he tried to keep in contact with her. After a while, she stopped replying and he just moved on. What he didn't know was that they had a kid - or rather, they had twins. Arra and Onyx; while the girl was given up for adoption, her mother wanting a better life for her, she kept Onyx because she couldn't fathom giving away both of her children. Years later, he's still serving Crux Fidelis, having been unaware of his children this entire time. But, when he comes across Onyx, who is now a Sin, it doesn't take much for them to realize their connection. He wants nothing more than to save his son from the path he's on, and reconnect with his daughter, but things just aren't that simple.
"Payback is a bitch."
30~ + Fubuki (One Punch Man) + Freelance/Ikarus?
Angry, haughty and self-centered are good ways to describe her. Y'see, her mother was the eldest daughter of the Delcroix Family, which meant her mother should have inherited everything. But, her grandfather remarried and his wife, after pulling some strings, made sure that Persephone's mother would suffer an unfortunate accident that'd take her life. And through some nobility bullshit, it resulted in Persephone's aunt becoming the new heiress. But, the aunt never really cared about any of that and instead spent her time messing around. This resulted in the birth of Ikarus Norwyn, who was immediately thrown away to Ravanar because he was considered to be a stain on their family name due to his status as a half-blood and, eventually, Ophelia. Persephone sort of became a second thought, after this. She was allowed to hang around, but she was pretty much treated as a second-class citizen by her own family. And this inevitably led to her developing a burning hatred for Ophelia, especially once the girl was officially declared the next heiress of the Delcroix Household. Setting off on her own, Persephone eventually ran across Ikarus and they formed a strange relationship due to the fact they were both pretty much cast aside. And while Ikarus holds no ill-will towards Ophelia, it's obviously different for Persephone. She hands around Ikarus and sort of mooches off of him and his social circle, all the while plotting a way to enact her own vengeance.
"We'll make them all pay."
20+ + Kishibe Rohan (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) + Ausrotten
Triton, like most members of Ausrotten, has suffered at the hands of Sillage. He shares the same opinion as his compatriots that magic is destroying the world and ruining lives and needs to be stopped. That those who so freely abuse it need to be brought to justice and made to pay for their crimes. He lost everything to the woman known as Thorn, Tyche Monroe. There was no reasoning for her actions besides she just 'felt like killing' and he had to watch powerlessly as his family and lover were killed before his eyes. And the only reason he's still living to this day is because Thorn 'liked the despair that was in his eyes'. Afterwards, he drifted for quite some time before running into Justice and Virgil during one of their endeavors to make Sillage users pay, and his enthusiasm and story was enough for them to accept him into their fold. And now, he's motivated by saving Sium and making Thorn pay for her actions.
"That was surprising. Not."
20+ + Fremy Speeddraw (Rokka no Yuusha) + Black Sun Cabal
Being the daughter of Caelum Vextra, you would think she'd take after him in some regard. He did raise her all alone after her mother left both of them, after all. But you couldn't be anymore wrong. From a young age, she was just naturally rebellious. There was just something about authority she had no use for; however, she did love her father and she was grateful for everything he did for her. But the moment she turned 16, she dipped. She hated living in Gaothaire and she wanted to explore the world -- something that wouldn't be possible under her father's watchful eye. It wasn't long before she wound up in the Black Sun Cabal; there was just something about it that she couldn't resist. She fit in well, honestly. Despite not really taking after her father, she did adopt his moral ambiguity. Yeah, sacrificing people to a God wasn't exactly a good thing to do, but she didn't care. She fit in and for once she was just content. Nowadays she spends most of her time hanging out with Aries and, every now and then, Nekros. She does, however, have an enemy in the form of Ariadne -- someone she utterly despises because of a sordid history they share.
"Can we just all calm down, please?"
26~ + Ichinose Guren (Owari no Seraph) + Weltschmerz
Janus honestly just wants people to chill with all their bullshit. He grew up to a single mother who had little time for him -- she was more concerned with her research -- so he was a bit of a reckless youth. Where there was trouble, he'd find it. As he grew older, he became a bit more 'whelmed' though. His personality mellowed out and his recklessness became a thing of the past. And while his mother was a scientist for Weltschmerz, he had no interest in the subject. Instead, he joined Weltschmerz as a soldier. He underwent the expected training, and despite not having any Sillage, proved to be able to take down difficult threats with careful planning and skill. After a while, he was promoted to Ephemera Handler/Hunter. And now, brandishing Anti-Sillage weaponry, he suffers at the hand of Bastet - the Ephemera he's supposed to be 'handling'. Though, most of the time she just handles him because cats are really bossy and difficult.
"I don't run from anything."
18+ + Joylne Kujo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) + Hallowed
Unlike her cousin Giselle, Lissa was gifted with Sillage. And despite the fact that she could have very easily just have lived a life of luxury, she joined Crux Fidelis. She was inspired by Giselle's determination to 'put Sium on the right path' so she thought she'd put her abilities to good use. The training was rigorous and hard, and at times she felt like giving up, but she was too determined to back down. Eventually she fell under the apprenticeship of Aeson Cerantes and they get along pretty well. Really well, honestly. Well enough to turn some people's heads, but no one actually says anything about it. She's one of the few who knows about his connection to Freyr Aldrich, but she insists that she doesn't mind and acknowledges him as his own person. She was pretty much best friends with Zero, so she's a bit broken up about the fact he's in Apocrypha and seemingly has no idea who the hell she is.
"I almost cut myself on your edge, buddy."

Black Sun Cabal
Angel + Priestess + Torturer
Basically I'm looking for someone who may have suffered at Kaede's hands in the past. Or, alternatively, someone who's in a prime position to suffer at her hands. She's been a member of the Cabal for a long time, and her main job is to torture people so there should be a bunch of people who have something against her. Either because of something she did to someone they cared about or loved. Or maybe, it can be something recent. I basically just want someone who could become an legitimate enemy to Kaede or someone who has good reason to hate her.
Human+ Anathema + Serial Killer
While Tyche, much like the above, has harmed and wronged several people, I'm not looking for a specific enemy for her right off the bat. While I'd never say no to someone hating her and wanting her dead on a personal level, this time around I'm actually more interested in the opposite. Not something extreme like a lover, but rather someone who she just gets along with. Either someone as equally terrible as her, or maybe someone who's normal or 'morally sound' but they still get along with her. Maybe they want to try and get her to change her ways or something, but more than anything I'd want her to have someone she could call a close friend.
Human + Hunter + Experiment
Osira's life has pretty much been nothing but suffering. As such, it'd be great if she actually made a close friend or something. Or, to even further, maybe someone could 'rescue' her from Weltschmerz. The only issue with this is, due to the experiments, she's in constant pain with the only thing that makes it bearable being the drugs Weltschmerz provides her. So anything who attempted to actually liberate her from Weltschmerz would have to be able to heal her/rid her of the pain. Either that or she'd probably kill herself or just go back to Weltschmerz. And even if taking her away from Welts isn't possible, it'd be great to have someone befriend her, despite how difficult it'd be, and teach her how to be more 'human'.
Human + Hallowed + Spy
As he's currently infiltrating the Black Sun Cabal, masquerading as an Acolyte, I think it'd be great to throw him some curve balls. In short, I'd like him to make friends with other members of the BSC. Like, legitimate friendships that could actually put a strain on his loyalty to the Cross. Having a criminal background, a lot of people didn't expect him to actually dedicate himself to Crux Fidelis but he actually turned out to be super loyal. And he's constantly paranoid about people being right about him - that he didn't change and he's still a criminal at heart. So I think it'd be great to put him in an emotional dilemma that forces him to choose between a place where he has legitimate friends and people 'accept him' (BSC) or proving the people who doubted him wrong but still having to deal with their mistrust (Crux Fidelis).
Human + Crux Fidelis + Valor
Okay, so like all good religious figures, Julius has several wives. Probably one from like every region (Xipilkha, Seracier, Empyrean, Pluviall and Zhyphire). If anyone wanted to like make one of his wives, that'd actually be pretty great/amusing. I'm sure some fun nonesense could go down and interacting would be a joy. Despite having so many wives Julius actually is a good husbando tho so like don't even worry about it.
Wynter von Wolfenstein
Human + Soldier + Supremacist
Okay, while I'm jumping the gun because she's not finished(SoonTM), I wouldn't mind throwing around some ideas involving Wynter. As a member of Weltschmerz, she's very much 'Pro-Human' and everything she does is undoubtedly 'For the Glory of Mankind'. She's the type who'd definitely ruffle feathers considering how blatantly Anti-Anything-That-Isn't-Human she is. So if you'd be easily offended by someone who'd hold a legitimate hatred for anything/anyone just because of what they are, then it'd probably be best to avoid this. But, if you're not, then what I'd want would either be someone who shares the same intensity/level of 'Pro-Human' sentiment she carries, or someone to oppose her. Maybe they're like legitimately disgusted by her mindset; it can either be to the level of physical confrontation, or simply a matter of conflicting morals with someone else in Weltschmerz. (They'd probably argue that Weltschmerz isn't based around hate but rather the advancement of humanity/Sium as a whole, while Wynter would very much be 'the best way to accomplish that is to rid it of all the beasts that plague it' or something.)
Phoenix + Agent of Chaos + Shit-Starter
Just putting this down while it's fresh in my head. While he's not finished yet (SoonTM), I'd basically just want someone who'd be Thane's partner in his bullshit. Even if they're young and they're only just now getting caught up in his sphere, I'd basically want someone who could be equal parts cautious and intrigued by Thane. And as such, they're always getting dragged into the shit he does. From making drugs, to burning down orphanages, to saving villages from bandits - they'd basically be his sidekick/partner-in-crime for all of his bullshit.
Demi-Human + Monster Hunter + Traveler
There's a lot of stuff I want to do with Cerise. A major aspect/motivation for her is finding her father, Carmine. And now that the Commander of the Immortal Legion has gone missing, it'd be a great time to actually really bring Cerise into the world. Taking after her father in many regards, she also shares his flaws. She's very idealistic and views the world in 'right and wrong' and she hasn't really adjusted to the grey areas of morality. I want her to have at least a friend and a legitimate enemy who sort of... Challenges/rivals everything she believes in. Unlike her father who got 'stuck' on his own dedication to his duty and oaths he swore as a knight, I want Cerise to sort of... 'Grow up' how Carmine should have but was never able to.
Demon + Contracted Demon+ Rebel
Having lived for a long time, Virona eventually got bored of being alive. She even got bored of like... Making humans suffer. You can only do it so many times and in so many ways before you run out of ideas. So she sort of just withdrew from the world and had some estate in the middle of nowhere with some humans she owned. She pretty much let them do whatever they wanted so long as they served her, but one of the younger ones went off and joined Apocrypha without her permission. So she like went after them because "muh property" and was gonna like... Eat them as punishment but then she realized that'd be gross and disgusting. That and Apocrypha seemed sort of interesting; she had been so reclusive she lost touch with reality and she was pretty much like "the fuck is this" and "the fuck is that". And so because Apocrypha is fucking around with Crux, she decided to join because "ay lmao" and she forcefully made a contract with her servant. She gives them power but honestly she's the one in the driver's seat and they're just her slave but it's super fine honestly. This is pretty much just an ad for someone to make the person she's contracted to I guess ayyyyy.

I could see Snow and Lyle being friends. I'd really like to see if that could be a thing so that he could have at least one person in BSC who does like him for himself.
As for your Weltz girl Osira, I'd like to have her be friends with Sena. She's not human, but she can pass for one and she totally could use friends since most don't see her as a person.
Dec 22 2017, 03:40 AM
I'm not really sure if the Lyle/Snow dynamic is what I'm looking for. Since Lyle is a Sky Pirate, they're not really like... With the Black Sun Cabal, in terms of religious piety and whatnot.
And I'm not really sure how the friendship between Osira and Sena could/would be. Osira is designed to hunt Ephemera, so she views most of them as like her... Inevitable enemy, sort of. She's been taught to view them as her natural enemies, so I doubt she and Sena would be allowed to really interact with one another.
I'm doubt any of it would work out, but thanks for the interest tho!
Dec 23 2017, 03:27 AM
"widespread collateral damage without meaning to" is an interesting concept that I want to have dibs on because hell yeah massive damage. Do you have any particular ideas for Justice's foil beyond that?
Dec 23 2017, 03:36 AM
Not really, honesty. They can be from any background, but probably like Apocrypha or Crux so they can maintain this sense of 'doing the right thing' or just being in the right in general. Maybe almost 'the ends justify the means' and whatnot.
