ABOUTSoren is the commander representing chastity. He's rude/unsociable and mostly focuses on work. Recently, his bellicosa has been stolen so he's relatively powerless and looking to get it back via any means necessary. Pretty much everyone hates him, but it's his fault. I'm down with bad things happening to him!
FRIENDSThis is tough. Soren might have had a few childhood friends before he was sent off to Crux Fidelis, but they've most likely forgotten each other (at the very least, he has forgotten them). Other than that, he most likely doesn't have any unless you want to try to pre-establish something. He's been with the Cross for about 16 years so it wouldn't be unbelievable for him to have a few acquaintances at least. He is a prick though so these friends will either need to be a lot like him or extremely patient. He doesn't care much about other people, so he doesn't go out of his way to make friends on his own. I'm sure that if someone bugged him enough, a friendship could bloom, but it really is a one-sided affair for the first while. That said, Soren isn't one to half-ass things so if you manage to get him to like you, you have a reliable friend for life.
It's notable that he did used to have friends in the Cross, but things went bad for him and he decided to freeze them all out, assuming they would die on him like the first few did. These people might be resentful/apathetic/etc. but hmu if you want your character to be on of this ex-friends.
ENEMIESThis one is easy! Sins, anathema, cultists, Apocrypha and anyone else that threatens the peace is going to be pursued by Soren. It's not so much that he's gung-ho about protecting the innocent. He just likes fighting (and he's spiteful, ngl). It's rare that he has to fight someone who is as strong as or stronger than him, so he gets excited about the prospect of taking on a Sin/anathema etc. When in combat, Soren feels alive.
When it comes to apprehending petty criminals, Soren may be verbally and physically abusive toward them because he hates "useless" people like that. In his opinion, they are a waste of potential, space, and oxygen. He hates dealing with them when he could be doing something more productive. When he is forced to do that kind of work, he's unforgiving and rarely gives breaks, even if the crime is minor. That'll teach them for wasting his time.
Soren's known for getting right down to business. He will sacrifice the few for the many in a heartbeat - or he might just ignore them all and give complete focus to killing any aggressors. He has an extensive record when it comes to collateral damage, rebel arrests (he really hates them okay), and causing chaos in general. He doesn't stand for any bullshit and absolutely will force civilians to their knees if they try to impede him - might even come back to arrest them later. He simply doesn't give a fuck about anything other than competing his designated task/having a good fight. Those who get in the way of that will be made to pay for it. So I guess what I'm trying to say is...Soren has a lot of enemies and his exploits are well-known. He's probably one of the most famous Commanders and is recognizable almost anywhere. Need an antagonist? Look no further.
PARAMOURNekros is best girl.
OTHEROld (likely abusive) teachers of his are always welcome so if you have a Crux character in their late thirties we could have a party. Uhhhh I'm down with anything but keep in mind that Soren isn't one for small-talk/he's simply not a nice person so if you want random "bump into each other" socials it might be awkward to pull off. He'll fight anyone though.

ABOUTGwyn is a human possessed by an angel. It's been so long the angel's consciousness has faded, leaving Gwyn with his power but confused. He's lonely and has no direction in life. He barely even knows who he is and is often conflicted as angelic impulses can sometimes lead him to do things he doesn't believe in. He also used to be in Apocrypha but ditched because they're too angry and needlessly violent.
FRIENDSFor the most part, Gwyn is friendly, if not a little distant. The human part of him craves the positive attention he almost never gets. Even if he doesn't actually like someone, there's a good chance he'll (try to) act nice with them in an attempt to form a bond. The problem with that is how bad he is at following up. The ice angel that resides within him has the personality of a robot and Gwyn has inherited a lot of these traits after being possessed for so long. There are lots of emotions and concepts he doesn't understand. He doesn't know what friends are supposed to do together. Teach him. He won't get the point at first so it'll be funny.
ENEMIESPeople who don't like the cold will probably hate Gwyn because he brings it with him nearly everywhere he goes (unless it's a really hot place). He can control it sometimes, but if you need a plot device to piss someone off, he's got it. I could also see him making enemies because of his selfless nature which causes him to step in if he sees someone in trouble. While he isn't one to hold grudges, he is instinctively motivated to kill demons. That doesn't mean he'll always go after them though.
PARAMOURGwyn's an angel, so he doesn't have carnal desires. He doesn't understand love as an emotion yet either. Idek how a romance plot with Gwyn would go, but if you're really wanting to try, we can figure something out.
ABOUTAspen is the sin of judgment. She mostly seems calm and cool, but she's a ticking bomb ready to go off at the slightest annoyance -and when she goes off, a lot of people die. She's angry, cruel, and claims not to care about the consequences of her actions -mostly because there aren't any and she's simply "culling people unfit for Lucifer's world". Lately though she's been depressed, wondering if there's even a point. Why does she have to be the villain? Why can't she stop being angry? Etc.
FRIENDSShe probably considers most of the Sins her friends, but may not always act like it. Now that she's more aware of how things work in Alptraum, Aspen isn't happy about the fact that she was made a Branch rather than a Cardinal and might be extra mean to certain members of the seven. It's probably just adorable though, and it'd take a lot for her to actually try to hurt another Sin despite their immortality.
When it comes to other factions, I'd imagine she isn't keen on getting close with other people. Crux is a very low chance since she can't appreciate people that are trying to hurt her fellow Sins. Plus, they're thwarting Lucifer's plans, and that's not cool. She'd rather just kill them off. Weltschmerz will usually fall into this category as well. As for the others? They're pretty much helping Poena by causing disorder, so she doesn't care much about them.
Aspen doesn't have a very high opinion of people in general, so you'd think it would be hard for her to make friends. But that's not entirely true. If someone interests her enough, she'll forget the possible consequences and approach them. She finds herself gravitating to sad/lonely people more than anything - mostly because she see her past self in them. Also, she figures that people with a lot of friends aren't worthwhile because then she has to third wheel it and she doesn't like coming in second. She'll most likely get jealous and end up hating the other friends as they get in her way.
She's had almost entirely female influence in her life, so she isn't fond of men at all. She thinks they're weird/annoying. She doesn't want kids, so she doesn't need a man in her life. Anytime one talks to her, she's probably gonna assume they're flirting with her and kinda...brush them off? It all depends on how they act, though, so plots with dudes aren't a total write-off. She's just...sheltered, or was.
So yeah, friends are welcome! She's just gonna be clingy/have very high expectations the closer she becomes with someone.
ENEMIESWhen it comes to enemies, Crux isn't her sole target. She'll off them when she comes across them for sure, but she's takes her role as Judgment seriously. If someone acts like a tool and manages to piss her off, Aspen's nature will tell her they need to be punished. She's done some straight up fucked up shit to people over small things like cutting her off while walking. So if you want an action-y thread, she's got it. She doesn't really hide what she is or practice discretion. She'll bash a motherfucker right in the middle of the street because she knows there are no lasting consequences. Even if she loses, she'll just come back again, and again, and again.
Even though she's doing a worse thing than the person she's punishing, there isn't much in the way of introspection. Because her duty is to cut off the dead weight. Those who get in the way of that, even if she knows they mean well, are endorsing and protecting humanity's failures. The world is the way it is because of enablers like them, so she judges them as well.
PARAMOURAspen is a tad more shippable than my other characters. She's strictly monogamous and into girls. There's no changing that. But uhh yeah, she's got a bit of a thing for Lucifer, but knows that's not gonna go anywhere. She doesn't exactly go looking for love, but if it falls into her lap, she'll take it. I think when she's in love with someone, she wants to be around them all the time and is very loyal. Kinda typical, I guess. On the other hand, she cannot give up her nature as a Sin nor can she pretend to be something she isn't, so the other girl needs to know about and accept Aspen, which I guess makes her kinda hard to ship because I doubt many people are okay with what she does, lol. Then again, it's not like she goes around all like "hey I'm a Sin and I kill shit", so it could be something that comes up later in a relationship and causes crazy drama. But when it comes to endgame, yeah, the other girl needs to accept her because it's too late to change what she is.
ABOUTMelchior is technically a sentient bellicosa controlling his wielder's body. That wielder is essentially dead, but their body is alive. Melchior doesn't know that though and is carrying out Mana's will and trying to act like him as he waits for him to come back. He's programmed to kill demons/sins/evil things on sight, but he can't physically harm anything else. This obviously leads to him getting into a lot of trouble.
FRIENDSPretty easy category to fill right here as long as you're not a demon/sin. Most of Melchior's friends will likely be Crux. Everyone should know him as Mana Nightroad though, since his identity as Melchior has yet to be revealed. If you want to plot something out where your character knows that he's actually a bellicosa, that could be interesting. Hopefully they don't end up blabbing about it. :x
Anyway, he's fairly friendly if not a little awkward. Taking on the personality of the wielder he took over, Melchior is overly kind and selfless, even going so far to sabotage himself and ignore his own feelings if it makes his peers feel better about themselves. This can eventually take its toll on him so hopefully he will develop some true friends that actually care and know their own self-worth so he doesn't feel the need to fluff them.
Although he is kind, he's the type to keep most at arm's length, keeping relationships cordial but non-personal. He's technically a holy weapon pretending to be a person, after all. He has yet to develop his own personality in regards to people that can be considered allies. That said, he's a clingy fucker, so pre-established friendships are something I'm open to.
Limitations: Melchior follows the rule of "exploding and marking the traitor" like all bellicosa. He's physically unable to defect unless forced somehow, so he basically cannot be friends with enemies of the Cross (unless he doesn't know they are). It would also be hard for him to befriend a demon regardless of their personality. He's instinctively driven to kill demons on sight. He can resist it, but this is painful for him so he'd basically be trying to get away from them as fast as possible so he doesn't end up killing an innocent.
ENEMIESMelchior doesn't really consider anyone his enemy, per se. He will track down and fight sins and demons whenever the opportunity presents itself, but he doesn't hate them. Imbued with the grace of saints, Melchior loves everything that is alive. When he sees an evil being, he is driven to kill them, but it's because he thinks they're suffering for their misdeeds and the fact that they must cause suffering without a choice in the matter (all of his powers target inherently evil races exclusively). He wants to put them out of their misery, in other words. When it comes to humans, he will always believe that they are good, or can become better. He has unending faith in them and that's probably how he will eventually die.
It would be funny if Melchior were to meet a non-demonic enemy, because he wouldn't be able to hurt them at all. His attacks would all pass through them because he doesn't recognize them as something that's evil and needs to be purged. Just imagine he meets a human anathema, okay, and he's just like going after them like no tomorrow, right? Nothing happens because he can't hurt them. This needs to be a thread.
PARAMOURThis is definitely complicated, but not impossible. Idek what this would be like. Wing it if you want?
ABOUTCain is a three-hundred year old vampire who used to be part of the Immortal Legion (Jag's knight thing). She dipped after being turned into a vampire because she didn't want to end up attacking any of her comrades -who currently believe her dead. Over the years, this self-imposed solitude has led to Cain "finding herself" and becoming satisfied with her life. she lives in the moment and kinda just floats around doing whatever she wants.
FRIENDSCain could reasonably have friends all over Sium. She doesn't stay in one place for long, but she rarely forgets people either. She could have friends she's worked/with for or just friend friends. Maybe they drank together or something. Maybe they fucked. Who knows?
It'd also be interesting for her to meet the other knights. She's not avoiding them anymore since she's got her vampiric tendencies under control -she simply hasn't run into them, and with the kingdom having fallen, doesn't know where to find them. I'm sure she'd be happy to see them. However, her personality has changed drastically since then so they might not click anymore. Since a lot of the knights seem to be super serious and Cain...isn't.
Anyway, Cain is laid-back, fun, and fairly sociable. She doesn't take herself all that seriously. She's pretty easy to befriend as long as your character isn't a complete dick. she doesn't appreciate devious people, either, like gossipers, liars, etc.
ENEMIESNot a whole lot other than people who attack her. She's a vampire, but not many people know this about her, so I don't see that working as a reason unless someone's been spying on her. It's notable that Cain isn't fond of other vampires. She's not gonna target them out of the blue, but if she sees one sucking back a cold one, she'll probably intervene and bash them around.
In most other cases, as long as you don't fuck with her, she won't fuck with you.
PARAMOURCain isn't big on relationships. They feel weird. It's possible she could fall in love with someone, but she'd be in denial. I think it'd be wholesome in the end though!
Otherwise, she'd had one-night stands. She likes to get down. I'm not doing sex threads though so it'd have to be fade-to-black.

hael & aspen
That could definitely be a cool thread! Ngl though, it's risky
She'd be able to somewhat sense that Hael is lying, depending on how partial it is and she hates that shit so she'd probably badger her a lot and if that doesn't work, be like "I give up" and leave in a huff. Idc if that would ruin Hael's fun and get her to do something or what but it'll be fun anyway! I'll add the open thread to my list! :D

Luna & Aspen
So we wanted to do something here!?!?!? Considering she's open to making friends with sins, particularly if they aren't the 'big seven', I imagine these two would get along? Luna is friendly so long as she doesn't paint you as a target, and she can honestly be a bit childish at times? She's pretty energetic in her first personality and just gets bored easily and needs someone to help amuse her. I'm not sure what we would want to start them off as/with, so if you have a thought, toss it at me! :D

Soren & Zeke
Okay, clearly these two would be enemies. Even beyond the whole Apocrypha - Crux deal. Personality-wise these two clash on more or less everything. That and there's the whole demon shtick - it could very well rub Soren the wrong way, I guess? Then again I'd be very reluctant to pit them against each other since Zeke, while he'd be able to stand his ground for a short while, would eventually end up getting stomped lmao.
Since Zeke is outspoken and very fucking flamboyant with everything, I could maybe see Soren looking at him like some kind of annoying upstart? Not necessarily a faction enemy, per se, since Zeke really doesn't give two shits about what Apo's doing, but more so like a personal type of thing? I'unno.

luna & aspen
I feel like these two can bond through carnage. :'D Maybe they don't know each other yet, but Aspen is just outgoing enough to be like "hey, we're both bored so why don't we go find something to do?" if she saw another branch just chilling in Alptraum or w/e. The something probably ends up being like some sort of torture porn thing, but that's fun, right?
Or we could have it so that they already know each other and got told to go and wreak havoc somewhere.
zeke & soren
Yeah they would definitely hate each other. They're almost entirely opposites lmao. We can play it like Soren doesn't know Zeke is REBEL SCUM since he isn't a defector so unless he like...announces it, there's no real way of knowing.
I'm not sure how you'd like Soren to figure out that he's a demon (unless he spews flames or something lol that could be a good indicator). While he doesn't really trust demons, he's not gonna target someone over that.
He'd basically think of Zeke as some dumbass kid and try to ignore him which probably wouldn't make for a good thread, so maybe we could have them get caught up in something together? And they probably ruin everything in their own way and clash over that (like compassion getting in the way of things for Zeke and the opposite thing happening with Soren idk).

Luna & Aspen
I'm down for either one tbh. Luna is fairly new in her 'sin duties' so we could go with them just meeting. Chances are Luna was planning on causing havoc anyways and she'd never say no to sharing the fun with others.

Soren & Zeke
I mean, the pointy ears and tail are a pretty clear indicator of being a demon xD Naw, I've just had this idea that demons were always looked at as these evil things and were disliked/shunned.
But honestly being forced to work together could prove to be pretty funny, if not mind-blowingly irritating for the both of them lmao. I'd actually like to test my writing skills with, I'unno, maybe something like a horror-y type of vibe? I'm thinking something having to do with a demon infestation/plague, and said plague would kinda be the reason why Soren would [need] Zeke and wouldn't just go off on his own (cause Zeke's fire is SPESHUL). That and it would help me edge his own plot on a bit.

luna & aspen
Sounds good to me! We can probably just figure out other deets as we go along. You wanna start it or shall I?
zeke & soren
I've been itching for horror like crazy lately, so I'm totally down with this! I could imagine Soren using Zeke as a flamethrower or something lmao. and getting butthurt over having to rely on him.
Since you've got a better idea of the situation, do you mind starting the thread?

XAPHAM & GWYN
"Oh my, you're alive! What happened to you?"
In all seriousness though, Xaph has been looking for Attaris for a long, long time. We've already talked a bit about this over discord and whatnot so you know the spiel about Xaph's confusion over your, condition. I do see Gwyn and Xaph becoming friends though, though she may constantly poke and prod at who Attaris was in the past. She'd obviously be aware of his robo personality, and be okay with it. Finding Gwyn in the company of the Apocrypha though would be delightfully awkward for Xaph. Especially once she's found out about his contract. It would be a blast to play that whole scenario out.
Mainly I'm just looking forward to any misadventures these two get into.
