Mikazuki Munechika - Touken Ranbu
Has several burn scars running down his left arm from elbow downwards. His gloves shield them from view but anyone who has extensively practiced the sword can tell his arm had an injury.
Senbonzakura - a long katana aptly named for its ability to create mirror copies of itself that can shatter into small petals of titanium on command or on contact. Titus can direct both the mirror sword copies and the petals at will. The petals individually don't cut very deep, but in a hail of blade petals, it has the potential to cut someone's arm off.
The main blade itself cannot shatter into petals. Instead, it functions as a regular blade that's just really durable. The blade is also able to utilize Titus's water abilities, allowing either hot steam/condensation or frigid ice to coat the blade.
Aquakinesis - Water manipulation. Since a young age and back when he was human, Titus has honed this magic, able to create and bend water to his will. He can create torrents strong enough to knock people off their feet, or fire strong blasts of water. He can also change the temperature of water, making it hot enough to become steam or cold enough to freeze. Some of his more notable abilities are:
Reflective Water - Titus's signature water ability. He can create a reflective shield made of water capable of reflecting one attack back at the user before it solidifies and shatters into ice. As with his blade, Titus can command the shards of ice to fire at his opponent. Once the shards either hit someone or melt, Titus can cast this shield again.
Aqua Prison - Titus can trap objects and people in a watery prison. He creates a sort of water bubble around the target. The bubble itself isn't something to write home about, but if the target fails to escape after a turn, the bubble rises in temperature and explodes, scalding any bare skin. (requires ooc permission) Applying this same logic to air, he can create scalding water bombs.
Song of the Lake - Once per battle, Titus can dodge an attack by substituting himself with a water copy that bursts into a scalding blast once destroyed.
Niflheim - Titus can create weapons of ice. Though it's far from being as durable as his blade, if there is water readily available, he can sculpt a weapon of ice to fire at his foe.
Demon Physiology - Since being accidentally turned into a demon, Titus is physically stronger, faster, and more durable than humans. As a demon, he regenerates at a much faster rate than usual, limbs generally growing back in a day and wounds healing in minutes. He can change between his regular and bird form, but other than that he hasn't actually been able to figure out bird abilities.
Blade Mastery - Titus has over ten years' worth of experience in using a sword. Thus his sword techniques are near impeccable despite the debilitating burn on his left arm.
>Being called "Tits" (especially by Ava)
>Being in the same room with too many people
A man of calm demeanor, Titus isn't one to be easily angered. He can become serious when he wants to, and often decides things on his own whims. One moment he'll probably be jovial, but then the next he'll be like, destroying something. Despite his unpredictability, he has the utmost confidence in his abilities. He'll place responsibility first and foremost, even though he may take a different or surprising route in achieving the mission goal.
There's a certain name he wishes to not be called though, and any mention of him by that nickname will almost certainly be maimed in some manner, whether it is a kick to the face or a sword flying at the offender.
Born to the noble Izmir family, Titus was the second child and second son, serving as a back up choice for if his brother failed to meet the code for the head of the house. As a child, Titus often followed his brother around, idolizing him and how great he was with his studies. The idolization wouldn't last long though.
The Izmir family was renowned to be gifted with water and ice magic, their heirs all being able to bend water to their advantage. However, there was a price to be paid for such grand accomplishments. If one was shown to be lacking in powers, they were henceforth disowned and cast to the streets. Titus's brother was such a child, and when he and Titus were 13 and 8, Titus was forced to kill his brother in cold blood.
He refused to kill the boy he idolized since birth, and with his impudence, his mother seized him by the arm and dunked his left arm in boiling water, scarring it. Titus screamed and flailed, wanting to escape, but soon realizing it was futile. The pain was too much to bear, and so he ended his brother's life, pain filling his eyes as he desperately sought for a way to escape.
No one outside the house knew of the incident, and Titus was forced to wear gloves to cover his burn. As the now heir to the Izmir family, Titus made sure his powers were exceeding his parents' expectations so as to avoid his other hand scarring.
Only a few years later, his house was scheduled to meet the Rhys noble family, and so Titus dressed for the occasion in his traditional robes. The head of the house was younger than he, and yet he was already well versed in readings and text. This determination impressed Titus, and he was happy to ally the Izmir and Rhys houses.
Unlike the Rhys house who complied to the Cross's demands though, Titus refused to relinquish his house out of pride. And so with the family torn, Titus fled from the house, the only remaining evidence of who he was in the treasured sword he took with him. For the next ten years, he trained in mastering the sword, even finding new strategies to use with his blade. It was around that time that he bumped into the eldest Rhys son again in the streets of Gaothaire, Titus a sellsword, and Ava a scholar.
Titus initially had no ideas of what Ava had been doing, but each time they bumped into each other, Ava had begun to change drastically. His health was deteriorating, and Titus, who had worried constantly about his friend's health, accompanied him home one day. That fateful day changed his life forever.
Titus was initially unaware of Ava's experimentation, and offered to help so long as Ava started caring about his health. Ava had reluctantly agreed, and so the two began conducting the experiments together, until Ava wanted to test something on him. Ava's research concerned demons, and he tried to create a demon from scratch. Obviously it hadn't worked, and so he turned to Titus for help. With some help, the two managed to reconstruct a demon corpse, but that was exactly when everything changed for the worse.
Instead of bringing the corpse to life, somehow demonic energy had combined with Titus's innate Sillage, and when the experiment was all said and done, he found himself turned into a bird. And was pretty upset by that. Trying to not let that fact get to him, Titus understood that the experiment failed and he had been forcefully changed into a demon. And that definitely meant he couldn't go back to his possibly gone house. It was fine though, he and Ava decided to figure out this new development.
The two parted ways again, Titus this time honing his skills in combat while trying to understand the changes to his body. His wounds healed almost instantaneously, and there was much more force behind his strikes than before. Not too long after, he had found Ava, now a female and a recently converted Sin. She had come to him to ask him to serve her, and he reluctantly agreed. Ava had since then placed him on the bench and he waits for her next issued order as he wanders through Sium for answers.
