Icy - Recovered Memories
On the back of Zadkiel's left hand is a suppression seal that has suppressed her angelic qualities and thus allows her to masquerade as a human. In order to break the seal, Zadkiel has to utter her true name - hence the need for an alias. It isn't visible to the naked eye.
An angelic weapon imbued with ice powers bestowed upon Zadkiel in the form of a blue hair-clip. Breaking down into particles of light, this blue hair-clip reforms into various pole-arm weapons at Zadkiel’s command ensuring that the angel is always armed.
Krýo Cháraka is the original source of Zadkiel’s ice powers, however, due to prolong exposure to the weapon, the ice powers have become a part of her and thus she no longer requires her angelic weapon in order to use it. Krýo Cháraka now serves as an amplifier as her ice powers are stronger when she has the weapon on her and as a weapon in it’s active form.
As an angel, an angel at that, Zadkiel is naturally superior to humans and lesser angels/demons as far as physical capabilities is concerned. She also has a beautiful pair of vibrant, white wings. Large enough to use as a shield, strong enough to use as a weapon, and durable enough to withstand punishment, the angel’s wings are more than just a means to fly. Lastly, Zadkiel’s very being is blanketed in a soothing aura that radiates five feet around her. Those affected will find losing their temper to be harder, though not impossible, as the aura attempts to force them into a state of perpetual calm.
As the angel of freedom, benevolence, and mercy, not only is Zadkiel’s actions governed by her concepts but the abilities that separate her from the other angels also tie into it. As far as Benevolence and Mercy is concerned, these two abilities work in the same fashion as her angelic aura. That’s, it will attempt to force a certain feeling upon those within her vicinity rather that be preventing someone from killing another by invoking mercy or increase the likelihood someone will be altruistic rather than cowardly with benevolence. Like her angelic aura, these two auras naturally radiates five feet around her, however the range can be extended up to fifteen feet.
Freedom is different though since it isn’t an aura that influences others. Instead, it works more like an immunity that gives her the ability to ignore anything that may bind or restrict her movement. For example, where others would find their movement hampered in a high pressured environment, Zadkiel would be able to move as if the increase in pressure didn’t exist. This ability also applies to her abilities, making it extremely hard to seal them individually without targeting Freedom first.
Though she has suppressed her angelic traits to better conceal herself in Sium and masquerade as a human, Zadkiel isn’t defenseless. Since her ice abilities hadn’t been tied into her angelic abilities, she still has access to them. Beyond the simple creation and manipulation of ice that one would expect her to have, Zadkiel is immune to the cold and it has been a while since she’s felt any warmth as her body is always at freezing - it’s speculated that her freezing body temperature is why she’s immune to the cold.
Even if Zadkiel didn’t have any icy abilities, she would still be far from defenseless as she’s a master as far as it comes to wielding pole-arms.

- Zadkiel’s knowledge of Sium is severely dated as her last visit had occurred before 800. Thus, when discussing the state of the world, it will be painfully obvious that she isn’t well versed on currents affairs and is out of touch with the current state Sium is in.
- Zadkiel doesn't necessarily hate demons, however they are her natural enemies and are typically the villains of the story. So, she has no problem when it comes to dealing with them. However, she will never resort to killing them as that would go against one of her concepts.
- Zadkiel has grown bored of sitting idly in heaven. Thus, without informing her brethren, she descended from the heavens to Sium - concealing her angelic traits so that she may masquerade as a human.
Zadkiel was born the humble servant of Orpheus, the God and creator of Sium. She has neither a mother nor father, the angel crafted by Orpheus’ hands and infused with a little of his essence. She served her creator for eight centuries, carrying out duties sent her way and commanding angel’s lesser than herself in her creator’s name.
However, such duties were put on hold when Eleftherios’ invaded the realm and granted the people of Sium the means to fight back against the various supernatural entities that plagued the world. With Orpheus having disappeared and the inhabitants of Sium no longer requiring angels to eradicate the various creates that preyed on them, Zadkiel remains in heaven.
Recently, Zadkiel has abandoned her post without a word to her brethren, traveling to Sium for the first time since 800. And Zadkiel’s entry into Sium goes as smoothly as an angel that had been cast from the Heavens. However, her wings save her from becoming an unidentifiable mass of flesh.
When she lands, she lands in the tundras of Mt. Glaucia with the howls of the wind as it whipped around her in her ears. She is fortunate to be gifted the power of ice as the freezing temperatures of the mountain don’t effect her; she will later learn that she would be dead if she had been a human. She remains a top the mountain for several days as she regains her bearings - the jump to Sium being both a draining and jarring experience. When she has regained enough energy to function, she descends from the mountain and enters the quaint town of Carinen.
Zadkiel doesn’t receive the warmest welcome, the inhabitants gazing upon her with unbridled suspicion. She does not mind as she has no intention of staying, although the town’s climate makes her feel at home.
